Taylor Kaplan

Taylor manages due diligence, entitlements, design, and construction for GKD’s projects. Prior to GKD, Taylor directed due diligence, underwriting, and construction at Williams/Dame & Associates. Experience include: multi family development, managing construction and opening of a 205-key hotel, managing the design, entitlement, and construction of a 180,000 SF Class A office building, development consulting for a 380-unit mixed income residential project, and leading early due diligence and design for a new 5-star hotel. In addition to Development, Taylor has worked in city planning and architecture. She is a Portland native and holds a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania. She serves on the Catlin Gabel Board of Trustees and the ULI Suburban Product Council.

When she’s not nerding-out about urban design and architecture, Taylor loves walking her two dogs (maybe you’ve heard them barking on calls!), making ceramics, and cooking large meals to share with family and friends.
